>be like five years old>playing with my dog >kind of a sunny day but a couple of oak trees my in our backyard provided lot of shade>suddently notice an eerie silence in the alley behind my house>it's really quiet wtf>flock of ravens fly from one of the oaks, obviously disturbed by something>hear rustling in the branches of some huge animal>motherfucker that looks kind of like this just falls out of the tree>fluorescent blue feathers, yellow reptilian eyes>straightens himself out, almost four feet tall>oh shit oh shit oh shit>what the fuck am I looking at>mind starts reeling thinking I'm in some kind of danger but trying to stay calm>blue bird stands completely still and looks at me directly in the eye from fifteen feet away>what the fuck is happening right now>stares some more>slowly hobbles past me>gets to the patio and jumps ten feet into the air onto the roof of my house>jumps again and he's out of sightI probably sat there for like ten minutes just trying to figure out what just happened. It was like a weird anxiety induced dream. Now that these are somewhat common in this area, I'm thinking it was probably one of them. Still never seen one with exactly same color feathers as the one I saw, neither have a seen one jump since then.
