Almost every person at every campsite has a car. That's how they get to the place where they're camping.
I have a Berghaus Air 4 so it's only practical when driving somewhere as it's huge whgen packed away. Nice and big though and tall enough for me to stand up straight in which makes a huge difference. It's just me, my GF and my dog so a 4 man is great and roomy.
