IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, you can just hike down the Tanaya (spelling?) lake trail down to Cloud's rest, and then down to Little Yosemite Valley and then down to the valley itself. You'll see Nevada falls and Vernal falls on your way down, and it does cross paths with the JMT right before you hit the Vernal Falls bridge on the way down. It's been like 4 years though, so look at a map. Anyways, by the time you do the JMT there will FUCK TONS of normies near Vernal/Nevada falls/Little Yosemite (half dome trail)/Cloud's rest and Tanaya Lake, so I'm almost sure the Forest Jannies will not hassle you too much.
