>>2437001My feet and palms sweat more than most people, so it's harder for me not to get blisters
>has nails trimmed and excess of dead skin removed>use lighter footwear, I tend to use below ankle hiking boots even in snow (with gaiters), for shorter hikes I even got myself a pair with mesh on the top>I pack extra pair of sock for every hike, change them mid-hike>when the weather allows it I put my shoes off on every stop, put out the insoles, put off the socks and dry everything in the sun, even for 15 minutes>I dry my feet in the sun as well>I use rubbing alcohol on my feet. It tends to dry everything up, and slows up developing blisters. Usually in the evenings but if I feel blister forming I can use it on every stop as wellI carry old newspapers to speed up drying my footwear at night during bad weather
All this methods combined improved my hikes about 60-80%
