>>2100615I'm considering raising pheasants. They're big, they're tasty, and they're expensive. I can eat them and their eggs, sell the feathers, sell birds to game ranches to shoot, I can do all kinds of shit with them.
Assuming this first bee hive takes off, I'm gonna need bees for the other four hives I've got. Meanwhile, batteries for my solar-powered air conditioner arrived. My cabin is officially off the grid. Solar power runs the fridge, A/C, lights, etc. Propane stove with a big ass buried tank, and an antique wood stove for backup. Pot belly stove for heat. 5,000 gallon rain capture system with filtration. Septic tank with incinerator. Got peach trees, apples, pecans, lemons, and chestnuts planted, but they're all a couple years off from producing decent crops; black persimmon is wild/native on the land and plentiful. Got the onions, potatoes, and squash planted, along with oregano, basil, chili pequines, ground cherries, blackberry, and black pearl pepper. Everything else died in the big freeze, including all my tomatoes. Wild grapes are plentiful though. Deer, pigs, barbary sheep, and turkey make regular appearances in large numbers. I've got a 3 year supply of dehydrated food from the Mormon cannery, plus others (MRE's, canned goods, a freezer full of meat, etc.). I've been stacking silver and other precious metals for years, and just got into crypto as a get-rich-quick scheme.
I'm gonna make it. I'm gonna fucking make it. Just a little while longer and I can finally escape clownworld.
