I grew up on a homestead in the Sierras, then moved to the California coast to live on a sailboat for awhile. Eventually I took a train across the U.S. to NY, and I'm still there now, though I took a few months off to just travel around in a car. However, I'm moving back down to the coast to start looking for some land to buy in the central coast area, hoping to get enough room for a garden and maybe some animals.
When I want to go out, I pretty much just ask around or google for good places to go, and go. I'm a freelance writer, so I don't have anything really tying me down. I just go where ever, whenever, no matter the distance. It's a pretty good life.
