You can signal with fire and make your own shelter, and assuming it is a tropical island you can use mud, some ocean produce and other methods for sunscreen.
Fish are abundant on most tropical islands and will likely be your main source of food. Water will be a huge problem so the filter will help purify any collected water, and tropical falls can be captured in the hull of the boat when it's not in use. If you ever break the boat, it's rubber can be used to collect water still, or form a shelter. The oars could also be used as clubs or even a shovel. Knife for the obvious reasons of gutting your food and field-craft of many forms.
I probably wouldn't use the boat for fishing as shore-fishing will likely do, but it can also provide a means for self-rescue if it seems like no one is coming.
