Also when rock fishing fluoro is king as it is way more abrasion resistant or for heavier loads (eg live squid bait fishing for amberjacks where you need again to fight with out streatch a 15-25kg fish).
>>1297175>>1297206In Greece and Italy we have a similar super traditional technique (mainly practiced by old ppl nowadays) called απιkο (pole fishing) wich is essencialy the evolution of sting on a pole but for saltwater fishing where you dip part of the pole in the water and use a glass bottom bucket to find the fish (old school shit) could see hipsters picking it up if it didnt need a bit of skill.
