Some assholes recently destroyed 20 acres of prime meadows and old-growth maple forest that I spent a majority of my childhood playing in. I can only take comfort in knowing that the land will eventually become wild again in the far future, once the descendants of these worldeating capitalists have no more oil to power their machinery.
