I've been to the States 5 times, but never had the opportunity to climb there, save for a few V0's in sneakers in Joshua Tree when I was visiting with my non climbing girlfriend.
The one time I did go to the US with climbing in mind, I sprained my thumb so bad on a mechanical bull in an outback restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard, that I was unable to.
Yosemite, Joshua Tree(again) and maybe some alpine stuff is high on my to do-list, I just hate the US so much it's hard to get motivated to go.
