>>558263>day's hikeget an rei flash. my cousin had one (and raved about how great it was), but i was skeptical and bought a osprey manta 28. ended up being too much and i had regret. flash was on sale so i risked the $18 and now it's almost all i use for one day stuff. 18L is plenty, it's inexpensive, light, stuffable, simple. i've worn mine literally halfway around the world (pic related) and up mountains. bought my dad one and he loves it, too.
