I really want to like my k55k, but that thing came so fucking dull it was unreal. I know how sharp it is out of the box isn't entirely indicative of the quality, as I've had cheap chinkshit shave my arm right out of the packaging, but it dampers my view of it when I havbe to spend 5 minutes getting it to a usable edge

Yeah, mine came dull as all hell, and even with the blade being soft carbon steel it took a decent bit on the stone to put a usable edge on it. It's really disappointing to be honest, it's a really good blade profile for EDC with a good lock and a thin yet comfy handle
