What strategy would you guys take to revitalize a screwed up lake, surreptitiously? Chance has failed to repopulate the place for a couple decades, so I wanted to intervene.
My idea is catching baitfish from a healthy highland source (like Mineral Lake, Washington) and reintroducing a foodchain from the bottom up. Like 40 shiners, 5 bluegill once weekly for a year. Observe population for two, then craw, then bass years on.
Oh, and catching as many carp as is humanly possible. For research funds, of course.
Has anybody else attempted this in a public habitat of any kind? You kids wanna try revolution?
