>>845311I caught a snek a month or two back on my Mepps Agila #4 Snek Sleyer with the brown skirt and pink blade and this fucker got hooked directly through the center of the tonge. That fucking hook was not coming out. I waited to get the lure out until after I killed it because I had to pretty much rip apart its jaw to get my lure back. Ended up bending the hook too.
That Mepps is a champ. The skirt is torn up from snek teeth, the hook is bent, the paint on the blade is scraped up, and I'm pretty sure there is still a scale from a snek stuck on one of the hooks.
