Bit of an Update.
The weather has been pretty cold the past week; never above 45F and down to 33F at night. The peppers are still ripening. Black nightshade is ripening. Both under the polytunnels. Onions that I didn't harvest earlier in the year are sprouting and growing again. Chickweed is flourishing and tasty. The nasturtium in the first row is going nuts. Its been reseeding itself and has taken over the entire bed. Some more of the luffa sponges are drying out. The compost pile is composting. Most of the birdhouse gourd and pumpkin vines died completely or died back nearly all the way. The remaining ones have started growing, flower, and fruiting again.
