Riding around won't really free you of the rat race. I think a motorcycle or van would be great to travel in as part of a journey to do something specific, like see Europe or go from Alaska to Chile.
ADV traveling sounds cool but the day-to-day grind of dealing with the weather, showering, trying to acquire water, not being able to store food and living out of a tent would get old. Start with the end in mind, so you don't end up broke. How are you going to earn an income? I follow a few people on youtube who drive around and they either had money saved up, patreon, selling their art (based mainly on them being a got girl online) and one does airbnb with the help of her friend. One just announced an onlyfans, which isn't really an option for a male 4channer.
