>>529349I did literally the same exact thing. What I did was water the shit out of the pellets, and then very carefully break them up. With a little tact, they separated, albeit not as smoothly as I would have cared for sometimes, and had good success rates. I even had to bare root transplant several but done quickly they wound up alive and well. I believe I lost a total of maybe 5 seedlings out of nearly 50.
