>>473115I think I figured out (and read posts online saying likewise) that the way to walk naturally is as if your are midfoot striking, or flat footed- grasping the ground like a monkey climbing trees. The heel still makes contact first, but its more of a gentle touch immediately before the rest of the foot lands.

3 months ago I got the Bikila EVO as my first fivefingers because I tried it on it felt good and fit. Shortly afterward got the KSO upon learning I was using the more padded version. By now I reserve the KSO for when I mostly will be walking on trails/dirt and grass, and if mostly sidewalk, will use thicker ones.
Recently got the Spyridon, which seems a lot less barefoot like than the others, but would be best for going out in the rain or through mud. Also am returning a Minimus Zero I bought recently and may look at the KMD sport- any thoughts on these.
So I guess I'm becoming a full time toeshoes guy, which isn't a problem being NEET and in California. I can wear my normal looking Lems if I don't want to fuck with toe socks, and Lems and Vivobarefoot both make professional looking boots and office/dress shoes if I ever need such things. Black Lems can go with anything though.
