>>1975773>>1977166i thought it was just a silly gimmick until i saw the price tag. a 6 frame flowhive is just short of $800, which is criminal when you consider that you can get a normal langstroth online for a third or fourth of that. you could buy a fully assembled painted 2-deep 2-super 10-frame hive, an electric 4 frame honey extractor, and the bee package with that money, and still have some left over. obviously the price difference only gets worse with more hives. maybe if someone has a back like a pretzel and cant lift anything, and wants to own a single beehive, then it would be worth it to them. even then you can get chinese knockoffs of the frames and not spend $400 extra
