Then I'd also have to bring a drill out and puncture inoculation points all throughout the log which I think is more work then I'm willing to put in. I like the idea though, maybe I'd do plug spawn on random decaying trees as an experiment, but right now I basically just wanted a way to potentially spread spores/myc culture while out on hikes quick and effortlessly.
