>>2081352The first question you will want to address is how you start the seeds and add them to the system. I started out planting in rock wool and netcups, then adding them to holes I drilled in the top of my buckets. This worked ok, but sometimes the plant doesn't develop roots that dangle below the cup very quickly, so if you have other plants in the bucket, the plant with shorter roots might end up drying out as the solution level drops. Pic related is huckleberries on the left, and a bucket of peppers on the right with one that has died due to the level dropping. Peppers will be split in to separate buckets soon.
