The next few days were spent tramping and hitchhiking around more developed regions. Here's the view from an old derelict cottage I slept in. There are abandoned buildings EVERYWHERE in Sardinia, mainly because every decade or so their economy turns to shit. You could sleep in a different derelict every night if you wanted to. I dislike it because they are seldom clean and you know, at some point in the building's long history, someone has had a shit in the same room you're sleeping in.
