>>2609120I was fishing there from 6-10. The whole time the bass were hitting the surface because there's a ton of bugs. They're hanging about 1-2 feet below the surface and are striking above them. If I had a fly fishing pole I'd be smacking a dry fly right now and that'd guarantee a bite. But I have to find something that'll work with the tackle I have and have access to. Those teeny pop-r's look good, I also think a really small catwalker might produce. I also saw some rotating tail ploppers on amazon that were pretty small. I've never used one before but I'm willing to try it. This lake has the largest average largemouth bass size of any public lake in Ohio. And they're all right in this one spot smacking the surface.
