To carry a pistol in the woods or fields or upon the waters of this state for the purpose of hunting or of target shooting in a safe area.

Many people claim that this protects you in BW while many others claim you need a license.

I don't necessarily plan to hunt, but my camping buddies and I would like to have a firearm in the group.

Vermont was in my top 4 favorite states from my Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike. So fucking pretty. Hiking is easy enough that you can really enjoy it too.

Anyways, as for my local biome I'm not sure what to pick, Minnesota has a pretty good variety of environments. I'll just go with my favorite, coniferous boreal forest, specifically the Boundary Waters.
