Not particularly tight budget, just looking to get the most out of my hard earned coins.
I'm looking at weekend camping trips, at the moment. I have a couple of backpacks that are decent enough, pic related. Amazon one is internal frame, venture 4th i just got a last week, been using it daily on my commute to work (15 min biking) and I've been pleasantly surprised at its build quality and ergonomics. Other than that, a folding blade w/fire starter, some comfy leather trekking boots and a sleeping bag is all I have as "specialized" camping gear.
A Morakniv Companion HD and a water filter (
