>>2552270There's something called "Pan cazador" (hunter's bread) they teach the Scouts down here. You make a dough out of flour, some salt, water, a bit of oil if you have, grab a stick, clean it, wrap the dough in spirals like this, put it over the fire or hot coals and it's done in a few minutes.
Alternatively, you can use the same dough, make flatbreads, put them directly in the hot ashes and cover them, takes a few minutes to an hour depending on how long ago you lit the fire. It's a cool way to make food without having to relight a bonfire, just using the hot ashes from the previous night.
