I was thinking the Kelty Redwing Tactical 30 is a perfect fit. Love the hip belt, but it's also made of durable fabric so it seems like it would hold up to abuse on the road. Heavy, but it's a day pack so that doesn't matter.
Looks like I can but it for $110 after discount.
Anyone have any experience with Kelty packs? Or any other recommendations?
