Many modern societies treat their companion animals well. How can you call cattle unnatural but not cats? Cats have lost their fear of humans, which is one of the most unnatural things in the animal world. Most 'wild' animals flee humans, until they become accustomed to us. And how on earth can you deny that we have intervened in the creation of cats. Have you seen a Manx? A Persian? A Bengal (the domestic cat, not the tiger)? These are all special breeds that WE humans have created. I honestly can't tell if you're trolling or just argumentative, but cats are simply an extension of humanity's impact on the world.
