>>1251633>Think of it this way as well: when you are in a situation were something is working you know that it is probably imitating something that exists at the moment in the ecosystem or at least is tricking the bass into thinking that; the big bass and little bass both are going to be looking for whatever that thing is that is the current 'hatch'.This is true, but big bass, especially when it's really hot will be looking for one big easy meal. Of course if you can get a small lure in their face they'll probably eat it, but they probably won't chase it.
This goes totally out the window during prespawn/fall feeding though
