Batch 1 is 12 days old now. They are now outside full time. I still need to hook up the heat lamp for them to be used at night. This is the old chicken tractor which they will stay in for some time now.
The rabbit tractor in
>>1544302 has already been assaulted once by a 5 feet long eastern black racer (Coluber constrictor.) No harm was done. This chicken tractor is slightly more snake proof during the day, but completely snake proof at night when the entrance into the run is closed.
Half of Batch 2 pulled their towel down and climbed out of their tote enclosure. I had to chase them around and put them back in. I think they were out for less than an hour most likely. Now, I have something over the top.
