gave my old pack to a homeless dude so im in the market for a new one. i want to get one that ill use for a while. the last one i had was an ascend pintler 90l and it served me good but the stitches were pulling after 2 years. i loaded it to about 50-60 pounds at most and probably put in 100 miles with it in that time. i want something the same size that can hold that weight and more without getting fucked up. im looking at the mystery ranch packs but they are fucking expensive. do any of you have experience with the hunting packs they make? im looking at the metcalf 100 and the marshal. are they worth the money? are there cheaper alternatives that you can recommend? also general pack thread.
