An aussie anon had a sweet setup he used for hikes in the outback. I for a while considered this option too because I really dislike that sweaty back due to the backpack being pressing there but gave up looking and stick to my fanny pack for shorter hikes. That kind of system allows for a great modularity, but at the same time gives you that larp vibe desu. In busy trails would be kinda off to wear it. But some advantages are there, definitely.
