You can ppay for a seat on an expedition, you can pay for food on an expedition and even pay for people to set lines, cook and bring the food to youl; But you still have to climb every step of the mountain.
Everest is still hard to do, the death statistics dont really reflect it anymore because there is probably about 200-400 people on the mountain in the season over half of which are probably sherpas who are there to bring you dont if you cant handle it.
