>>2431366I am losing my mind. I haven't seen a groundhog in about two weeks. Weather has been about mid 80s to low 90s. Mid to high humidity IIRC. I've been out hunting around 7:30 AM-1:00 PM, probably hunting half of the days in the last two weeks. The only one I saw since getting my last and only groundhog ran across the road around 1:00 PM-2:00 PM while I was on my way back home (within 1.5 miles of where I was hunting). Internet says they're out in the morning and at sunset, which is what quick internet searches about any game animal seems to come up with. I haven't even seen the ones in fields near my house like I usually do. Is the heat keeping them in their burrows until later in the day or what?
