The only land the Feds are supposed to own are military bases, federal bldgs, post offices etc. Look at the map of the west that the feds own. It's almost the entire state of Nevada. So why then? Is it for parks and hiking places? No. The sell the timber. The green light open pit mines. They manage monuments for tourist dollars. I live in Alaska and have seen this first hand.
Give the land back to the states.
