I spent almost every day in a state park close to me growing up on Long Island. Thousands of ticks on me over the years, no doubt hundreds of bites. Never saw a ring or a rash, never got tested, never felt sick. Not sure how to feel about Lyme, but I really have my doubts. How could I be routinely covered and nothing yet people say they see one on their clothes and take an antibiotics course? It's not adding up. Ever unreliable testing and imprecise symptoms don't help convincing me it's a real disease. Or at the very least that everybody is equally susceptible. Maybe there's a mechanism at play similar to sickle cell preventing malaria (not that I'm a nigger)
