Looking for a tent for a Thru-Hike of the Appalachian Trail come March. The tent I have is okay but it's old and smells bad, among other things. Things to consider:
>weight isn't much of an issue, I would rather be comfortable than have a 1 pound tent>price range is anything under $200, $250 at most>needs to be 3 seasons, I'm planning on leaving when it might still be cold so it needs to offer some decent protection>prefer an easier setup to a complex one>must be durable, or at least if something breaks I can fix it somewhat easily with some stitch witch or duct tapeRight now I'm looking at the REI Passage II, it's about $170 and seems to fit the bill pretty well. Also looking at the Marmot Catalyst 2p
