All gear is expensive now, UL gear seems fragile, how often do you want to be replacing pricey things? Are you that guy who wants to complete the hike as fast as possible, or do you not mind moving slower because you just want to chill. Smile or miles? I say just mix and match UL, bushcrap and regular gear to fit your activity and preferences.
