Bucket oyster anon reporting in, day 5. Orange metabolite present in all holes now and much more vibrant than it was two days ago. Strong mycelial development visible in roughly 50% of holes, weak but uniform mycelial development visible through plastic top but hard to photograph. Bucket has a smell of decomposing wood but smells fresh rather than rotten. Concidered cutting the top to aid in watering due to holes drying out but unsure due to constant moisture visible on the top. Control box showing slight increase in mycelium thickness and also displaying orange metabolite. Wondering if airflow is adequate or in need of larger openings. Pic related is top.
