Highly reflective limestone in blistering salty heat is rather uncomfortable for the eyes, however. Not my picture, unfortunately, but I do have my own.
It's either this biome or tropical seagrass beds and coral reefs on isolated shorelines. Karst broadleaf tropical moistforests are also very patrician (Bosque Guajataca Puerto Rico). Poor temperate fellows don't know what they're missing out on.
