Have any of you guys ever seen these things before? Not my picture but they look just like it. I thought it was like a disease or something on the tree but I think they're called something like "scale bugs" or something. Used to see just a few but now there are a shit ton. And there are big-ass fire ants all over the tree because I guess they eat whatever the scale bugs shit out? Anyway there are more and more each time I look and it makes the little tree look ugly and I doubt it's good to have them all there.
Have any of you guys dealt with these bugs before? I'm trying to figure out how to get them off. It seems like neem oil is supposed to be good, just spray it on and they die? I'd like something mild if possible, I like to use the lemons when they grow and I don't want to mess up and accidentally kill the tree...
