>>2521691Multi-species, I rarely target bass unless I am sightfishing and see a big one. The irony, however, is that in 2022 I caught more bass and bigger bass than ever on micro hardbaits. Average was around 3-4lbs, and I only caught a handful of dinks which was weird. It changed my view on fishing and I've since bought lots more micro hardbaits to try. pic rel is close to average size I caught, and I got multiple a day. Had a few that were every bit of 5lbs too, and it was usually on the tiniest/cheapest crankbait I had. 12+ inch crappie were caught on micro jerkbaits, and very big bluegill. a bulk of this was in the heat of summer too, where it can get pretty tough in the places I fish.
