>>2653149Not the same spot, but yeah I hang out in that area a lot. There's a lot of dirt service roads that are open and just have texas gates. You can get pretty deep and avoid other people while not paying to camp.
There's some crown land a bit South, but there's usually too many people there and you're supposed to pay to camp on crown land now.
