But in my opinion if you want a usable radio you're better off with something from a legit company like Eton, Sangaen, Tecsun, etc. Look for something that runs on AAs instead of an internal battery if you want it to last a long time.
I haven't found a modern alternative to the old crank-powered radios. The modern ones seem to rely on an internal battery which is guaranteed to be a problem eventually.
