>>2199762>when you guys say that 60-80 litres is the sweetspot, what is this in reference to? Winter hiking? Multi day trips? When I (
>>2199744 ) say 60-65L will be alright, I'm talking about cheap gear for nice weather (15-30ºC).
I say that because 65L was what I used back when I went camping with cheap gear (supermarket tent and the cheapest sleeping bag I could find, so I'm talking really cheap shit) in those exact conditions.
If you have a bit of extra space (a bit, too much extra space and it becomes an headache), you can always tighten the straps on the backpack to make it conform to the contents. If the pack is too small, you're shit out of luck.
>(assuming I can strap on the tent and sleeping bag externally). With that assumption, yeah, you could do it with a 40L. (30L, even, but as I said, I'd rather have a pack that is a bit too big than one that is too small)
>>2199782>a cheap one from lidl, but they look truly hidiousB-but they have such beautiful colours! LOL
I only ever got one backpack out of LIDL, a 30L for 15€.
First hike I did with it the stitches on one of the straps came undone. Worse than expected, to be honest.
