https://youtu.be/RN_RfaYXqUEGavilan Machetes or the Aguila Corneta Machetes are one of the best in the Machete market, both made by Incolma.
Incolma was created after WW2 when German imports suffered, and it then became a joint effort with the German company Gebruder Weyersberg and the Colombian metal industry.
The Incolma name derives from "Industria Colombo-Alemana de Machetes" (Colombo Alemana = Colombian German).
If you are not used to swinging Machetes, remember that you do not chop anything with a "death grip" like you would a hatchet or else you will just tire yourself and hurt your hand.
To correctly swing the machete and chop, make sure you end up with the "pinch grip" where your Thumb and Index finger is holding the machete and the rest of your hand is loose, alowing the vibration to travel to the end of the handle and not up your hand. This will allow you to chop for hours without using much force. Definitely change the handles to a custom made one.
