10/22 or single shot .410 because that works and is my lightest. 30-06 if out a long time and after large game but would probably make a trap and leave that shit home. (my friend once made a deer snare that worked otherwise deadfall a deer) If I were to buy a new tool a .22/.410 over under or .22/12 ga. would be my real choice if I were going over a month.
