If you already have some skills you can get in at the ground level (around a GS-3 generally) pretty easily. Just depends on the area. Where I work has a huge user base and has good funding for recreation. Trying to get a job out in, say, the middle of nowhere Nevada might be harder since they generally hire less seasonals.
