>>855135there really isnt any "wrong" way to work a frog. What I find to be the most effective is to reel in 80% of the slacked line and to do short 6 inch twitches with the rod tip pointing down. If you practice and get the technique down your frog will pop side to side (commonly referred to as walking the dog) creating a lot of commotion on the water. When I first started fishing frogs I just did little pops in a straight line and that worked too. The biggest thing is just making a commotion in the water to signal a bass that there is a struggling frog trying to flee. When you get a blow up wait a second in a half to ensure that its got a good grip, then rip that sucker in
