>>2138671Have rubber boots, but use them for stuff like gardening (when the heavy clay soil is wet) or walking dogs. Not for (extended) hikes though because you slide back and forth too easily, especially on hilly terrain, plus there's zero breathability. I don't tend to sweat a lot but even after like half an hour of light gardening it's getting quite moist in there, so several hour intense hikes would be bad (unless it's like -5°C or below)
